SICILY
From its beginnings under Vito Curatolo, and for nearly 150 years after, Curatolo Arini has built a distinct reputation for the expression and purity of their wines. The winery is still family owned, with 140 hectares in western and central Sicily, under the leadership of Roberto and Sergio Curatolo. Winemaking is advised upon by oenologist Alberto Antonini, who has worked previously with such producers as Gallo and Antinori.
As the oldest, continuously family-owned winery producing Marsala, Curatolo Arini crafts both dry and sweet wines, largely from single vineyards in such regions as Salemi, Trapani and - of course - Marsala.
