Chardonnay Friuli Colli Orientali
This Chardonnay is sourced in Buttrio’s Sotto Castello vineyard, from vines 15-20 years old and grown in marl-sandstone soil. Harvest and production of this wine are carried out with low environmental impact. After the grapes are soft pressed, the wine is vinified and matured in steel, spending 6-8 months on its lees.
In the glass, this wine displays grace across notes of melon and pineapple, with harmonizing acidity adding balance between hints of honey and freshly-cut grass.
