Owned by the Filhol family for 5 generations, Hauterive has always sought to produce the most authentic demonstration of Cahors, possible. Now under the leadership of winemakers Gilles and Dominique, Hauterive harvests from 20 hectares, with its base in Vire sur Lot. The winery produces with constant attention and respect for their environment: grass is grown between their vines, to limit unnecessary water use, and yields are regulated with vineyard thinning and green harvests.
