L’Insoumise is a family-operated winery in Saint-André-de-Cubzac, under the leadership of Cécile Thirouin and Thierry de Taffin. They are a passionate team with degrees in oenology, and are both from agricultural families. The estate itself can be traced to the 17th century, but the current winemakers renamed it "L'Insoumise" - meaning "Rebellious" - reflecting the uniquity of their 22 hectares, and of their winemaking philosophy.
