ROQUES LUSSAC.png

Lussac-Saint-Emilion

70% Merlot — 30% Cabernet Franc

The grapes behind this elegant Lussac are sourced from vineyards 90 meters high on a clay-limestone perch. The deep soil consists of limestone where there were, many years ago, quarries for construction purposes. Maturation takes place both in vats and barrels.

The wine, itself, is a dense, generous array of ruby plum, chocolate and vanilla spice, with light touches of coffee and cassis at the concentrated finish.
