SASSETTI BRUNELLO.png

Brunello di Montalcino Pertimali

Sourced from 25 year old Sangiovese Grosso vines at 280 meters above sea level, grown in marl and clay soil, with some limestone. Grapes are hand harvested, and the wine spends a minimum of 40 months in English oak, before it rests for 4-6 months in the bottle.

A dense, generous Brunello in the glass, it presents a harmony of dark plum, pimento and baked pastry, with hints of cocoa and tea interwoven through the lifted, elegant finish.
